A visit to 5th in the table Paks at the weekend

Paks have picked up 4 points from their opening 3 league games this season.

Match 4 of the OTP league season will see Vidi travel to Paks on Saturday. The game will kick off at 18:00pm with Paks having picked up 4 points from their 3 games to sit in 5th place.

There wasn't too much movement involving the Paks squad during the summer. The main departure was manager Aurel Csertoi who left after over five years in charge. He was replaced by Tomiszlav Szivics, who managed the green and whites back in the 2012/2013 season. Daniel Bode returned to Paks after a period of seven years away and he has already scored two goals from the first three league games. Experienced keeper Adam Holczer has also left Fradi to move to Paks. He managed to break into the starting eleven fairly quickly. There were two players arriving from Puskas Academy to strengthen Paks. Balazs Balogh has played in two games so far with Attila Osvath playing all three.

There were naturally departures too with Peter Horvath joining Siofok permanently after a loan period with the Balaton side. Andras Simon moved to MTK while Andras Vagi switched to Miskolc and DVTK. Former Vidi youth player Vilmos Borsos has moved on loan to Dorog while Dominik Molnar, who also featured earlier for the Vidi youth teams has gone on loan to Ajka. He scored in their most recent 1-1 draw with Vasas. Tamas Egerszegi and Barnat Kesztyus have moved to Bp Honved on loan.

The season started with a 1-0 defeat to Kisvarda. However, they comfortably beat Honved 3-1 in their next game before drawing 1-1 with Ujpest most recently.
