Daniel Kovács was born in Gyula on the 16th January 1994. The footballer began playing with his local club and at first with Bekescsaba. He moved at the age of 17 to the capital and joined the Vasas Kubala Academy. He moved in 2013 to Brazil and a spell with Fluminense where he played for their U20 side. Season 2014/2015 saw him move back to Hungary and join Kecskemet. He went on to be named 4 times in their squad of 18 without actually playing any minutes. Next up was ZTE and then Csakvar before appearing in goal for Soroksar in season 2017/2018. The most recent season included 36 appearances in 38 league games for Peter Lipcsei's side. He also kept goal for them in their impressive Hungarian Cup run that saw them make it to the semi-final.
