Vidi will enter the competition at the Q1 stage when the draw is made in Nyon.
There will be four teams representing Hungary in European competition this summer. Budapest Honved and Debreceni VSC will be joining Vidi in the Europa League 2019/2020 qualifiers. We will be starting at the Q1 stage and the draw will take place in Nyon on the 18th June.
Seeded
It is mathematically certain that Vidi will be one of the highest scoring co-efficient teams in the first round. Judging by previous years experiences, it is quite likely that the same would apply at the Q2 stage with Vidi being seeded among weaker opponents. As to whether we would be seeded at Q3 is not yet clear. The lowest ranking side at that stage a year ago was Cypriot Apollon Limassol with 10. Now We are on 9 going into the summer.
Possible opponents in Q1
There will be 94 teams in the Q1 stage of the Europa League. So far 25 teams are certain with a further 7 to be decided shortly. There will be another 9 that will also begin at Q1 stage.
